The Ska Review - June 22nd 6pm - 9pm
Sitting in for DJ Toast, Record Rich will be playing three hours of rare Jamaican 45's - Ska, R&B, Doo Wop, Soul, and related Jamaican music.
On "Discovery" at 12 noon, July 11, Rey Gonzalez interviews the actor and activist, Sabra Williams, a member and Director of Outreach for The Actor's Gang in Los Angeles. The group, led by Tim Robbins, focuses on community involvement, teaching all aspects of theatre to disenfranchised youth, both at their theatre and in schools. Ms Williams is also Director of the Prison Project, a highly successful program, perfoming similar work with prisoners at the California Rehabilition Center. See: TheActorsGang.com
