WHAT: KKUP RADIO FUNDRAISING MARATHON
KKUP will sponsor its annual Folk, Bluegrass & Country Marathon

WHEN: FRIDAY, 2/08, 3:00 P.M. THROUGH SUNDAY, 2/10, MIDNIGHT.

**SPECIAL KICK-OFF SHOW WITH LIVE MUSIC BY BEV BARNETT & GREG NEWLON, CASSADY'S HAMMER AND COYOTE MOON, THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 7th, 7:00 - 10:00 P.M.

**SPECIAL MARATHON WRAP-UP MONDAY, 2/11, 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. WITH BLUEGRASS BAND BEAN CREEK AND AUTOHARP ARTIST ADAM MILLER

WHY: TO RAISE $20,000 towards yearly operating costs for non-profit community radio station, KKUP Cupertino 91.5 FM.

KKUP is financed solely by subscriptions. No corporate or government money is used. We are raising funds for operating expenses (there is no paid staff), and for sorely needed new equipment.

Those who pledge during this marathon will be eligible for special premiums including CD's, special commemorative t-shirts, concert and festival tickets and more, and will become members of KKUP.
